ALL ABOUT

The British multi-instrumentalist R&B singer/songwriter and producer from London.

ONUR’s sound can be described as broken beats, soulful chords, guitar fuzz, combined with yesterday’s dusty drums and tomorrow’s sounds and samples.  Reminiscent of a falsetto like prince, and intricate grooves not too dissimilar to Michael Jackson, ONUR is a hybrid of heroes that is pushing the envelope in the world of British R&B.

Following ONUR's debut single Beamin' last year, he grabbed the attention of blogs such as EARMILK, Acid Stag, Pause Musicalè as well as being playlisted by Martin Garrix. By the release of ONUR's 2nd single Stunnah, even bigger publications such as Konbini, Office Mag, Aupium and We Plug Good Music featured ONUR as well as garnering the attention of labels such as Ninja Tune, Sony RCA and STMPD records, Island Records, Universal Music, Atlantic Records, Parlophone Records, and the list goes on, along with being picked up by several radio stations, KCRW, Reprezent Radio and Hoxton Radio to name a few. Then it came his third single IDK Why I Fall in Love.

then his debut EP “A Millennial Rhapsody” which accumulated about half a million streams on Spotify and again attracting every major label and critics alike. Since his latest single “What U Do” attraction to ONUR’s music grew even bigger which landed him on BBC Radio London.

After his sold out EP Launch in London and a successful tour in LA (US) ONUR had another sold out show in London at The Amersham Arms on the 13th November. Even though the 23 year old started producing a year ago, he has established his sound and is making waves in the Alternative/R&B scene. The young artist is a sure gem to watch.
